Home made Sambar powder

Ingredients for sambar powder

Dry roast all the ingredients mentioned here. And grind it  to fine powder when it cools down. This is the base masala powder for sambar. Store it in refrigerator and use it for your future usage.

  • Mustard seeds – 100 gm
  • Pepper corns – 50 gm
  • Cumin seeds (seeragam) – 150 gm
  • Coriander seeds – 250 gm
  • Dry red chili – 500 gm
  • Asafoetida – 2 table spoon
  • Fenugreek seeds – 25 gm
